We all had great fun at February’s meeting! The first one at our new venue. Lara from the Smithery in Warwick stepped in at the last minute to give us an interesting demonstration of how to screen print using materials that most of us already have, or are very easy to obtain. Most of the members had a go themselves and were all really pleased with their results. Everyone got to take home a souvenir of the evening in the form of a screen printed drawstring bag.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to change what we are doing in February (previously a tea talk and demonstration).
We will now be doing screen printing – Lara Smith of the Smithery in Warwick is coming to give us a screen printing demonstration. We hope to see you there.
Please note – our February meeting is now at our new location – Centenary Lounge of the Community Hall behind St Marks Church off the Rugby Road in Leamington Spa, CV32 6DL.
We have a new home – our monthly meetings from February 2018 will take place in the Centenary Lounge of the Community Hall behind St Marks Church off the Rugby Road in Leamington. Postcode: CV32 6DL. Parking in the church car park. We look forward to welcoming you at our new venue at the usual time of 7.30pm the second Thursday of the month.
At our January meeting we had Emma from Shape Your Wardrobe visit us to give us some helpful hints and tips for making the most of our wardrobes and navigating the sales. She showed us how to build outfits and gave us advice on how to dress for our own body shapes. For more information, you can visit her website here.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 8th February, where we will have the Golden Money Tea Company from Warwick visiting. We look forward to seeing you there.
