Our meetings take place on the second Thursday of the month and whilst we have been holding them online for the first part of the year, we are starting to meet up from time to time now, albeit outdoors.  When we can meet indoors again, our meetings will be held at:

Lower Hall of St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Road, Leamington Spa, CV31 1JW. Our meetings start at 7.30pm prompt. Please arrive a few minutes earlier if possible to allow time to sign in etc.

We start with a short welcome and notices, followed by an activity or talk with a midway break for tea and cake. We aim to finish by 9.30pm.

Our next meeting is on 8th July at Newbold Comyn – this month’s meeting is Comyn Connexions.  We will meet for some fun in the sun and games to entertain.  Fancy a bit of hoopla, giant Jenna, walking rounders, boules, egg and spoon and a chit chat?  Come and join us a Newbold Comyn at 7.20pm for a 7.30pm start.  If you want to join us, drop us an email at to find out where we’ll be.

We’re hoping to be able to meet for most of the second half of the year and have the following meetings planned, although they are currently subject to change due to the ongoing pandemic.

August – ‘Sex, secrets, scandal and salacious gossip of the Royal Court 1660-1830’.  This is a Zoom talk that will be given by Sarah Slater.

September – Macrame with Nina. This will (hopefully) be our first meeting back in the hall.

October – AGM, followed by a talk from our chosen charity, the Friendship Project.

November – Christmas Craft night with Libby.

December – Christmas food tasting

Guests are always welcome.  If we are having a craft taster session, we may request a donation to cover the cost of materials and a craft pack will be delivered to you ahead of the meeting.
