June 2017 meeting – Decoupage

At the June monthly meeting last week 17 people came along to try their hand at decoupage.

Our President, Caroline, opened the meeting and introduced the latest offerings from the Warwickshire Federation of WIs in terms of day trips and courses.  The raffle for a quilt made by the Lillies’ members to raise money for the Side by Side theatre group was also announced with books of tickets now available for purchase.

Visitors to the June meeting were encouraged to provide feedback of the meeting.  This month’s activity was Decoupage.  Our Treasurer, Sarah, explained the options of covering boxes, bottles or jars and there was a variety of wrapping and tissue paper to select from to cut and glue on to boxes and jars in order to decorate them.

The evening was enjoyed by all and some great creations were produced…
