The Lillies get ‘Swishing’

The Lillies fashionistas indulged their love of finding new clothes at a bargain with a ‘swishing’ session as part of our meeting last night. WI members and guests brought along their unloved clothing and accessories and swapped them for lovely new things – never has ‘shopping’ felt so virtuous! On an environmental note, swishing is a great way to reuse and recycle clothes etc. that you no longer want – whether we can reduce (the third ‘R’ of the mantra ‘reduce, reuse, recycle) our desire for shiny new things is probably the subject for a whole separate meeting!
