Charity tea party success

We raised a remarkable £640 for children’s cancer charity, Molly Olly’s Wishes, at our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on 20th July. Many thanks to everyone who came along to support us on the day!.
All funds generated from the event were donated to the local charity, which supports the lives of children with terminal or life threatening illnesses throughout the Midlands, as well as offering advice and assistance to families.

Tim Ollerenshaw (pictured in centre), comments: “We’d like to say a  very big thank you to The Lillies WI and everyone who came along to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for their valuable support and kind generosity; we are incredibly grateful and the funds raised will enable us to continue making the lives of others better.”

We are delighted with our fundraising total and thrilled to be helping such a worthwhile cause; it was a great afternoon and a fun time was had by all!

Molly Olly’s Wishes was set up in memory of Warwick-born Molly Ollerenshaw, who was diagnosed with a rare type of kidney cancer the age of 3 and who tragically lost her battle with the disease in 2011 at the age of eight. The charity helps to fulfill children’s wishes
and supports them through treatment.
